Job Purpose:

Build client portfolio and revenue growth by building relationships with existing and potential clients.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Meet and exceed target of £7500 income per month and take responsibility for own performance
  • Business Development Support
  • Assist the New Business Manager in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, including lead generation and market research.
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans to meet business goals.
  • Conduct research to stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs.
  • Client Acquisition Support
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through lead generation and prospecting activities.
  • Support the Business Development Manager in client outreach efforts including cold calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Assist in qualifying leads and maintaining a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Ensure that all materials align with the company’s brand and messaging.
  • Coordination and Communication
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for business development projects and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Maintain communication between departments (marketing, finance, legal) to streamline the new business process.
  • Act as the point of contact for administrative tasks related to new business development.
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Assist in tracking performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for new business and business development efforts.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on income activities, client engagements, and market trends.
  • Analyse data to provide insights and recommendations for improving processes.
  • Administrative Support
  • Maintain records of client interactions, sales activities, and business development initiatives.
  • Manage the scheduling and coordination of meetings, presentations, and events related to business development.
  • Keep CRM systems and client databases updated with accurate information.
  • Support event planning and attendance at industry networking events, trade shows, and conferences.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Line Manager Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a business development and/or sales
  • Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and presentation tools.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the industry or sector in which the company operates is a plus.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Number of new leads generated and qualified.
  • Success rate of proposals and pitches submitted.
  • Client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Contribution to overall revenue targets.
  • Efficiency in coordinating internal teams and managing timelines.
Remuneration and Package for the role of New Business Executive:
  • Salary: £27,000 to £32,000
