A major transformation is happening in the world of tender writing, and it’s one that all businesses bidding for UK tenders need to be aware of. As of 24th February, the Central Digital Platform (CDP) will officially launch, bringing significant changes to the public procurement process.
The CDP is a crucial part of the UK Procurement Act 2023. It is an enhanced online hub for all public sector procurement, designed to streamline the tendering process. The platform replaces the existing “Find a Tender” service and will serve as the primary location for all UK contracting authorities to publish procurement-related information.
This is not just an optional change, all businesses wanting to bid for public sector contracts must register on the CDP and complete the Procurement Specific Questionnaire as part of the sign-up process. Without it, they won’t be able to submit tenders.
Our expert partners can assist with completing the Procurement Specific Questionnaire, ensuring that all responses are accurate and fully compliant with the new system. This questionnaire is crucial, as it will form the foundation of your tender applications moving forward.
